The Stone Pillar Sites of Turkana Basin is part of the Tentative list of Kenya in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.

The Stone Pillar Sites of Turkana Basin are four groups of prehistoric archaeological sites. The pillars, placed in circles or on platforms, were created by the first pastoralists in the area. They are estimated to be about 5,000 years old.
