‘Uruq Bani Mu’arid
‘Uruq Bani Mu’arid Protected Area is part of the Tentative list of Saudi Arabia in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
‘Uruq Bani Ma’arid is a protected sand desert landscape in the great sand sea of Rub al-Kahli. It has spectacular sand dunes. Arabian Oryx have been successfully introduced here.
